Reducing emissions and operational costs

Dust collectors are a key part of this application’s process, ensuring the dust is collected and recovered while minimising environmental pollution as well as avoiding economical loss.

Due to the substantial size of these hoppers, several filtration units will be needed, preferably in the most compact size possible so that the highest number of collectors can be utilized. Moreover, they must be ready for direct integration into the hopper so product can be collected and returned to the process before reaching the atmosphere.

Different options to meet the process needs

ATEX certified filtration units are required in case of dealing with explosive dust. This will mitigate the risk of fire, increasing safety, and preserving the investment. Additionally, because eco-hoppers are usually located on ports and near the sea, special anti-corrosion paint can be applied to the dust collector to extend its life cycle and prevent corrosion.
