Synthetic nanofiber ASC filter for gas turbines

The DuraPak SN cartridge has been specifically designed to protect gas turbines in high dust environments with prolonged> high humidity. The high F9 (MERV 15) initial efficiency provides sustainable performance over its operational life, increasing availability and reducing compressor fouling. The 100% synthetic media is hydrophobically repellent, withstanding high humidity from mists, fogs or sustained levels of rain.

The DuraPak SN excels in extreme environments where both high dust load and high humidity are combined. The product has excellent pulse recovery to maintain a low pressure drop and with a high dust holding capacity, even in this type of extreme environment filter life remains long.

AAF’s ASC System transforms GT performance in the UAE

The site in question operates several gas turbines in Dubai, UAE at an Aluminium Smelter. All originally fitted with reverse pulse cartridge systems, the operator could not achieve a filter life beyond 9 months. There was also evidence of compressor fouling and hence reduced engine performance. An ASC Filtration System was installed and the results showed a step change in performance levels.
