DuraShield® B
Blend filter cartridge for reciprocating engines
The DuraShield B filter cartridge is AAF’s entry-level product in the DuraShield product range. It is suitable for cartridge filtration systems that serve to protect the intake air of diesel and gas engines. Suitable for dry dust load environments, the DuraShield B is a durable media designed for pulse cleaning.
The DuraShield B has an MERV 12 (M6) filtration efficiency and is a tried and tested product and has been in the DuraShield portfolio for many years. Like all cellulose/synthetic blends an application assessment should be made when used in humid or very high dust applications. In these harsh environmental conditions an upgrade to DuraShield SN, a synthetic nanofiber filter media, should be considered.
