AstroFan EC FFU Installation

Whisper-quiet, energy-efficient AstroFanTM EC fan filter unit (FFU) and watch as it is installed into a ceiling grid system. Changing out the filter is a snap, as it can be done from the room side by removing the facescreen. These FFUs also allow room outside aerosol injection and testing for convenience. With the AstroFan EC FFU, you have multiple control options based on MODBUS protocol, including the connection of Ethernet cables for a communication link to a control panel.

Quality and Process Control

Meticulous scrutiny during every phase of the production process enables AAF Flanders to trace a filter or FFU back through the manufacturing process. Each unit and filter are identified by serial and order numbers and labeled with performance criteria, size information, operator number, and part number. The energy-saving AstroFan EC FFU has the highest efficiency airflow rates when coupled with AAF Flanders’ eFRM filtration media technology, delivering significant benefits in energy consumption and performance. eFRM media is proven to be more reliable due to its high level of mechanical strength for resistance to damage, leaking, or failure. It is the industry’s first and highest - performing membrane media to be compatible with polyalphaolefin (PAO). eFRM membrane media has the lowest available pressure drop to reduce operating costs while improving production yield.
