Stejasa GT & Engine Dampers
AAF’s wide range of Stejasa Dampers are suitable for both gas turbine and diesel and gas engine applications.
AAF’s wide range of Stejasa Process Dampers are suitable for industrial applications to control and/or isolate gas flow. They have been supplied to a wide variety of industries, including food and beverage, cement, foundries, and all kind of industrial processes that need to deal with hot gases. Industrial process dampers are designed to be highly flexible and can be customised to meet the specific demands of any industry.
Stejasa Dampers have a renowned reputation for reliability and quality. Suitable for the most challenging of conditions our team of experts has designed and supplied world-leading dampers for over 40 years, with well over 10,000 dampers now installed around the world in that period. In 2015, AAF International acquired STEJASA and ever since then the Stejasa Damper range has remained a key part of the AAF International product portfolio.
Highly flexible product range
Offers exception control
Very reliable with a low pressure drop
Stejasa Butterfly Dampers are used to control and/or isolate gas flow. The design of a butterfly damper is very simple and is a cost-effective solution. Butterfly dampers have a very flexible design, and with a wide range of sizes available, this particular damper has been used throughout an extensive range of industries.
Butterfly dampers can be circular, square or rectangular and are available in carbon steel, alloy steel or stainless steel. External or internal insulation can also be added to suit the individual application. Speak to AAF to find out more.
AAF’s Stejasa Multilouver Dampers are very similar in principle to a butterfly damper but they offer the customer higher levels of control by having more than one blade. In applications where controlling the flow of gas needs to be very carefully managed a multilouver design is the perfect option.
Multilouver dampers can be fitted with between 2-5 blades depending on the design requirements. They can be circular, square, or rectangular and are available in carbon steel, alloy steel or stainless steel. External or internal insulation can also be added to suit the individual application.
A Stejasa Tandem Damper is used when 100% sealing efficiency is required. These state-of-the-art dampers have an integrated seal air system to ensure a leak-free seal. This type of damper can be based on either a butterfly or a multilouver damper and offers the same levels of flexibility in the design process.
A Stejasa Tandem Multilouver Damper is recommended where 100% sealing is required and more than a single sealing blade is required to have greater control of the flow of gas. Speak to AAF to find out more.
A Stejasa Guillotine Damper is used in applications that require an on-off gas flow. They can be designed with or without a seal air system according to the design requirements. This type of Guillotine Damper can be automatically actuated from the plant’s Distributed Control System (DCS).
AAF can supply PLC and local controls to engage with the general control of the plant. The materials and actuator arrangements are customised according to the process parameters (dust content, operation time, temperature, etc). Speak to AAF to find out more.
