The DuraVee HXL filter is a 440 mm deep heavy-duty, high efficiency filter developed specifically for the gas turbine industry. It is designed to withstand the rigours of centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, and engines where surging or pulsation occurs. The DuraVee HXL’s dust holding capacity is higher than comparable 292 mm deep filters, providing longer periods between replacement.

Media

DuraVee HXL filter media is water resistant and can withstand exposure to free moisture in the airstream. When this filter is wet, there will be a temporary rise in resistance that quickly returns to normal as soon as the moisture evaporates. The design ensures a full depth loading of particulates across the entire surface of the filter.

Construction

The header and cell sides of this filter provide a sturdy construction that resists damage during shipping and handling. Rigid construction and minimum depth make DuraVee filters easy to install in front, rear, and side access systems.

Separators

The hot melt separators maintain uniform spacing between pleats to allow optimal flow of air into and through the filter. They also ensure large effective media area for low resistance and high dust holding capacity.

Operating Temperature

DuraVee HXL filters can operate at temperatures up to 70 °C. This filter is fully incinerable.
