AAF International to Relocate Corporate Headquarters
LOUISVILLE, KY --- November 2011 ---
AAF-McQuay Inc. dba AAF International has signed a lease to relocate its corporate headquarter offices from Forest Green Corporate Campus to 40,000 square feet of Class A office space at Three Corporate Center in July, 2012. Three Corporate Center is a 72,555 square-foot office building in the East End submarket of Louisville, owned by local real estate development firm Fenley Real Estate.
AAF International completed a thorough evaluation of several U.S. locations that aggressively competed for AAF’s headquarters, including the Dallas Metroplex and the metropolitan Charlotte markets in North and South Carolina. There were several factors that led to the decision to remain in Louisville, including the rich history between AAF and the community, as well as the state and local economic incentives offered by Louisville and the State of Kentucky.
The decision to move offices within Louisville went through several considerations. "Choosing to relocate to Three Corporate Center was a decision motivated by our desire to design our space to reflect our culture and our current operations. Additionally it is important that the city know we are still here and this location will give us visible presence in the market with prominent signage," said Kevin Lynch, COO AAF International.
"The decision to relocate was largely based on suitability," said Mike Kotzin, of Newmark Knight Frank’s Atlanta office, who represented AAF in the lease and incentives negotiations. "The move will allow AAF to create a layout that will improve work flow and achieve both operational and cost efficiencies."
