The VariCel V high efficiency filter is designed for service in HVAC installations with difficult operating conditions, such as variable air volume, turbulent airflow, repeated fan shutdown, or moderate to high humidity. This double header model is used for installation in side access systems with a 12” wide track or reverse flow systems where the filter protrudes out of the holding frame in the upstream direction. Standard airflow double header units are also available for downstream serviced frames.

VariCel V filters consist of multiple media packs assembled into a series of V-banks to substantially increase effective media area. The microglass fiber pleated media features a dual layer, progressive density design for maximum dust holding capacity. Between pleats, thermoplastic bead separators support and allow minimum spacing for optimal airflow. Light-weight plastic and aluminum construction results in a rust-free and totally incinerable product that is easy to install, remove, and transport.

VariCel filters with antimicrobial are designed specifically to improve Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). The antimicrobial traps and concentrates particulate air contaminants while preserving the integrity of the filter media.

VariCel V ULTRA has a MERV rating of 14 and is a product that may contribute to the achievement of LEED Project Certification.
