VariCel II’s slim line design provides minimum resistance with the high dust loading capacity of larger, traditional filters. The pleated media is made of microglass paper with a dual density fiber construction and water repellent binder . Two die cut boxes form a sealed, double wall around the perimeter of the filter. Media pack support retainers and adhesive pleat separators are bonded and applied to the pleats. Together, these form a unitized, rigid media pack that maintains pleat spacing and a maximum, even distribution of airflow.

The thinner depth and fiber board frame make handling, storage, and installation the easiest of any high efficiency filter. Disposal is also simplified from the absence of metal components.

VariCel II has a MERV rating of 14 and is a product that may contribute to the achievement of LEED Project Certification.
