VariCel filters are rigid, self supporting filters with dual density media. VariCels are available in three efficiencies MERV 14, MERV 13, and MERV 11. VariCels are available in 6" or 12" depths. Also offered with antimicrobial in 90-95% & 60-65% efficiency.

VariCel II’s slim line design provides minimum resistance with maximum dust loading capacity. VariCel II filters are available in three efficiencies MERV 15, MERV 14, and MERV 11. The VariCel II M & MH combine the efficiency and performance of VariCel II media with AAF’s unique interlocked metal header and cell side.

VariCel V's multiple mini-pleat media packs, assembled into a series of V-banks, permit substantially more media to be contained in the filter. Maximum effective media area provides greater airflow capacity, low resistance, high dust holding capacity, and unusually long service life. Available in 4 efficiencies; MERV 15, MERV 14, MERV 13, and MERV 11.

VariCel RF is ideal for Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems. Layered synthetic media with plastic pleat spacers on both sides and heavy-duty expanded metal media support grid make VariCel RF a durable, highly efficient filter.

A 6"-deep (nominal) filter with the same media area and performance, but half the weight as 12"-deep (nominal) filters. Available in MERV 14, 13, and 11 efficiencies.

BioCel I® fills the gap between ASHRAE grade high efficiency filters and ultra-high efficiency HEPAs. Rated at MERV 16 by ASHRAE Standard 52.2, BioCel I has the advantage of much lower pressure drop than a typical HEPA filter (0.4" versus 1.0" w.g. at 250 FPM). Available in 6" or 12" depths.

BioCel M-Pak offers the same media area and pressure drop as the BioCel I in a 6" deep, high-impact polystyrene cell side.

BioCel™ VXL is the latest addition to the AAF BioCel line. Built with 12" deep, high-impact polystyrene cell sides, BioCel VXL features improved efficiency (97.9% @ 0.3µ) and contains 200 square feet of media area.  Available with Antimicrobial.
