VariSorb® XL filters are designed to improve indoor air quality by removing indoor and outdoor gaseous contaminants including VOCs, SOx, NOx, and Ozone. The VariSorb XL is suitable for retrofit into existing HVAC systems, for specification in new construction, or for direct replacement of 12” deep, single header filters.

Constructed of plastic, the VariSorb XL is corrosion free and fully incinerable. The very small carbon granules used in the media provide 85% carbon activity along with a much higher active area relative to the weight of carbon than typical activated carbon granules of larger size. Combined with the high surface area of the mini-pleat panels, the VariSorb XL offers a high spontaneity of adsorption combined with very low pressure drop. With a resistance of 0.21” w.g. at 500 FPM, the VariSorb XL is an extremely energy efficient option for effective gas phase filtration.
