The DuraCel XL is a heavy duty filter unit developed to withstand the rigors of the rotating machinery industry, servicing centrifugal compressors, gas turbines and engines where severe surging or pulsations occur. The filter is constructed of all metal cell sides with spot welded face guards and header flanges. Pleated between glued aluminum separators, the high efficiency media pack consists of finely woven, progressive density glass fibers.

DuraCel XL offers high dust holding capacity, low operating pressure drop, and minimal housing size to obtain the highest efficiency for user applications. The filter installs directly into a filter bank housing and is designed to fit in standard filter frames. Available in four efficiency grades, it is used as the final filter stage in machinery intake systems where rigid construction and long service life are essential.
