Daikin to Acquire Nippon Muki

August 26, 2009 -

Daikin Industries, Ltd. has reached a definitive agreement with Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo Minato Ward) to acquire all outstanding shares of NSG's wholly owned subsidiary Nippon Muki Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo Chuo Ward; (hereafter referred to as Nippon Muki) at a price of 5 billion yen. The closing of the acquisition is planned for October of this year.
